Real Parties: Rock Star Birthday Party!

When a friend told me her son’s second birthday was going to be a Rock Star theme I couldn’t wait to help!  At two, Seeley was already learning to play the drums like his dad, so we knew that the party had to be all about the music!
The dessert table was complete with hand sewn backdrop, balloons, labeled candy jars, guitar
and a Fondant drum cake!
We customized our Rock Star Baby Shower invitation just for Seeley’s birthday – adding drums to tie in his favorite instrument.
The Death by Chocolate cake was decorated with Satin Ice Fondant and made to look like a drum complete with real drum sticks as an added decoration.
Vanilla cupcakes were topped using our Rock Star Party Circles.
Guests were welcomed by a poster of the little rock star announcing doors open at noon sharp!
We created these Rock Star fancy shaped labels just for the candy jars. Gumballs, Sixlets, and of course what Rock Star party would be complete without Rock Candy!
Hand made banners reading Rock Star hung over the entrance.
Of course what else could the birthday boy need then his own little drum set!  Seeley entertained guests with his mad drumming skills throughout the party.

These boy party ideas were also featured on Spaceships and Laser Beams.
