Easter Egg Balloon Table Runner

Balloon garlands are one party trend that don’t seem to be going away anytime soon. I’m loving their longevity because balloons are an inexpensive and fun way to make a big impact. When I was thinking of fun ideas for our Kid’s table for Easter, the similarity between the shape of Easter eggs and balloons gave me the idea of creating a fun oversized Easter Egg table runner. This Do-it-yourself requires only balloons, paint and tape, making it a super simple project.

Supplies needed to create the Easter Egg Balloon Table Runner:

11″ Pastels Assorted Latex Balloons &  5″ Dart Balloons (Assorted)

Acrylic Paint White

Paint Brush

Masking Tape

Plastic Pastel Easter Eggs

Biodegradable Easter Grass

Inflate balloon in your preferred Easter colors. Flip the balloon over so it looks like an egg shape, use your paintbrush and craft paint to paint your favorite Easter egg designs on them. Use enough paint to get even coverage, without it being too thick.

Use masking tape to attach painted balloons onto your table and allow them to dry.

Use the masking tape to line the larger balloons in the center of your table and surrounding them with the smaller dart balloons.

Add Easter grass and plastic Easter eggs around the balloons if desired. Easter eggs can be filled with treats as favors for the kids.

Easter Egg Balloons

Add place settings to complete your Easter tablescape! The kids will love these fun jumbo eggs decorating their table. Happy Easter!

Papers, parties and playful things!
